Head Coach – Stephen McNett
Stephen McNett joins the Madisonville Miners as the NEW 2026 Head Coach after a successful and impactful career across multiple levels of collegiate baseball. He enters this role following two seasons with the Moundbuilders, where he still serves as Associate Head Coach and leads the pitching staff.
From 2018–2024, McNett was the Head Coach at Central Christian College of Kansas, where he became the program’s second all‑time winningest coach. During his tenure, his teams set numerous top‑ten program records on both sides of the ball, including team and individual marks in home runs, doubles, triples, batting average, OPS, stolen bases, saves, and strikeouts. Under his leadership, the program produced two SAC Gold Glove recipients, multiple First and Second Team All‑Conference selections, and two players who went on to sign professional contracts.
McNett’s coaching experience also includes roles at Coffeyville Community College, Nelson University, and Pratt Community College. His pitching staff consistently excelled, breaking program records in strikeouts, saves, and opponent batting average at multiple stops.

McNett brings a proven track record of player development, competitive success, and program-building experience to Madisonville as he leads the Miners into their next chapter.
Hitting Coach – Lincoln Hackim
Lincoln Hackim IV is a former collegiate baseball player and current coach with a strong foundation in player development, leadership, and modern training methods. A native of Stow, Ohio, Hackim had a standout high school career, earning PBR All-State honors during his junior year while establishing himself as a dedicated and competitive player. His success at the high school level paved the way for his collegiate baseball career.
After a few stops at JUCOs Tri-C, Triton, and GTCC, Lincoln continued his playing career at the University of Northwestern Ohio, where he further developed his understanding of the game at the collegiate level. His experience as a student athlete helped shape his coaching philosophy, emphasizing detailed preparation, accountability, and long-term player development both on and off the field.
Currently, Lincoln serves as an assistant baseball coach at Cuyahoga Community College. His primary responsibilities include serving as the catching coach, assisting with hitting, and overseeing the program’s strength and conditioning program. In this role, he plays an integral part in player development, daily practice structure, and building a competitive and disciplined team culture.
Previously, Lincoln served as the Head of Player Development and Lead Trainer at H24 Training, where he designed and ran a wide range of training programs for youth and collegiate athletes. His experience also includes working with Division I and professional level catchers and hitters, focusing on position specific skill development, efficiency, strength, and performance optimization. These roles helped shape his modern, forward-thinking approach to the game, blending traditional baseball knowledge with technology driven training and data informed development.

Pitching Coach – Riley McElfresh
Riley McElfresh, a native of Cable, Wisconsin, brings a diverse and well-rounded background in collegiate, summer collegiate, and travel baseball to the Madisonville Miners. Most recently, McElfresh served as a graduate assistant at Division III North Central University during the 2025–26 season, working primarily as the team’s pitching coach while supporting daily operations and player development.
McElfresh also gained valuable summer collegiate experience as the assistant head coach for the Shallotte Shallywags of the Old North State League. At the travel baseball level, he has coached and instructed with PineTar Academy, where he worked extensively with pitchers and helped organize youth baseball camps.
As a player, McElfresh competed in two seasons at Viterbo University (NAIA) after beginning his collegiate career at Bay College. During his three seasons at Bay, he set the program record for career appearances.
McElfresh brings energy, technical knowledge, and a strong developmental mindset to the Miners’ pitching staff as he begins his first season in Madisonville.

Assistant Coach – Peyton Ramsay

Peyton Ramsey joins the Madisonville Miners coaching staff for the 2026 season, bringing a fresh player‑to‑coach perspective shaped by his years as a collegiate pitcher. Ramsey competed at multiple universities throughout his college career, gaining firsthand experience on the mound.
During his time at Central Christian College, he tied for the team lead in complete game, a season that helped spark his passion for coaching and player development. His recent playing experience gives him a unique ability to connect with pitchers, understand how they think, and guide them through the adjustments needed to grow in a competitive summer‑ball environment.
Ramsey has already built a reputation for working closely with athletes who want to expand their knowledge of the game and elevate their performance. He brings energy, insight, and a strong developmental mindset to the Miners staff as he begins his first season in Madisonville.
