Game Saturday Night Suspended Due to Rain

The Miners trailed the Henderson Flash 6-2 after four innings at Elmer Kelley Stadium when the rains came Saturday night. After a weather delay of approximately one hour, the umpire suspended the game and called it a night.

The game will restart on July 16, 2018, when the Henderson Flash return for their last regular season visit to Madisonville. By OVL rule, we will pickup the game at the top of the 5th inning and finish a nine-inning ballgame. After completion of that game, we will play the Flash in a seven-inning matchup.

Tonight we travel to Hoptown to face the Hoppers. The winner of the game will be in sole possession of first place in the OVL West Division. The game gets underway at 6pm Central and will be broadcast on Hopkinsville radio station WHOP (they stream the games online at the WHOP website). You can also follow the game on the Miners’ GameChanger site.
