The Miners extended their winning streak to four games with a 4-2 victory over the Fulton Railroaders in Fulton on Monday evening.
Jeff Lindgren pitched eight solid innings and earned the Win. Mike Ringer came on in the ninth to close the door on the Railroaders and notch the Save. Offensively, Wesley Birchmeier led the Miners with a 3-for-4 night at the plate and three runs batted in.

The win raises the Miners to 16-10 on the season and puts them six games back of first-place Hoptown (22-4). The third-place Miners are 0.5 games back of Owensboro (17-10) for second place in the standings.
Madisonville will try to keep the winning streak alive on Tuesday night with a road trip to Paducah (10-17). Game time at Brooks Stadium is 6:15pm CT.
