Madisonville Miners 5, Hopkinsville Hoppers 3. (From Hopkinsville). Madisonville scored all of their runs in the second and third innings. Jake Perry led off the second with a single and Kevin Dupree followed with a 2-run home run. Josh Wetzel tripled later in the inning and scored on a passed ball, giving the Miners a 3-0 lead. In the fourth inning the Hoppers scored a single run when Taylor Ellis was hit by a pitch, advanced to second on a single by Chris Carrier, moved to third on a wild pitch, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Mitchell Gallagher.
Ben Rodriquez led off the bottom of the sixth with a home run reducing the Hoppers deficit to 5-2. Mitchell Gallagher scored the final run after being hit by a pitch and driven home by a double by Jeffrey Kammer.
