Miners Tied For Third In Standings

With last night’s victory in Fulton, the Miners climbed into a tie with Dubois County for third place in the current OVL standings. Bith teams sport a 10-7 record, leaving them seven games first place Hoptown (18-1) and only one game back of second place Owensboro (12-7).

Madisonville hosts Dubois County on Friday night at Elmer Kelley beginning at 7pm CT. The Miners enter the game riding a two-game winning streak, while the Bombers roll into town dropping four straight.

If we don’t see you at the ballpark, the game will be streamed on our TEAMLINE page. Catch all the action with Boyce Tate beginning about 6:55pm CT.

Joe Kennedy Returns From Injury

Joe Kennedy returned to the team for last night’s game in Fulton after a brief absence due to injury.

Joe got hit in the face by a pitch earlier in the season and required some minor surgery, but he’s been cleared to play and even saw action in the game last night.

We are glad Joe is healthy and back with the team. Welcome back Joe!
