Miners Win in Paducah; More schedule changes due to rain

Miners Win 4-2 Wednesday Night

The Miners traveled to Paducah on Wednesday night to face the Chiefs and came home with a 4-2 victory.

Miners starter Nicholas Rathke pitched a complete game to earn the Win, surrendering just one earned run on seven hits, no walks, and six strikeouts.

At the plate, Sean Kearney drove in two Miner runs, with Caleb Nobles driving in one, as well. Bernee Sanchez went 3-4 at the plate on the night.

Miners and Bombers Rained Out Tuesday Night

The Miners trip to Dubois County on Tuesday night rained out, and in accordance with OVL rules, the game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 3, in Madisonville.

The game will now be Game 1 of a doubleheader on that night, with both games being seven-inning match-ups. Game 1 will start at 5pm Central.

Admission to both games will be free to the public as part of the City of Madisonville’s annual “4thFest” celebration.
