Player Bio

Colton Nussel is a returning Miner in 2016 for the third season.  Colton is a player who was a star both on the mound and in the field.  In 2014, he played 26 games for the Miners and also pitched in 4 games.  Colton is a junior at University of Montevallo.  He is a right hander on the mound and at bat and is from Tampa, Florida.  He was All State in high school and pitched in the Perfect Game Series.  Coach Franklin expects that Colton will be used primarily on the mound in 2016.
