Player Bio

Wes Birchmeier is a second and third baseman from Lake Erie College.  He is returning to us from last season.  Wes is a sophomore from Miamisburg, Ohio.  The Storm held a fall split squad game and Wes not only excelled in the field and at the plate, but he was the winning pitcher in one inning of relief.  During the long OVL season, having an extra arm who can play multiple positions is a strong asset.
