The Miners hosted the Fulton Railroaders Sunday evening at Elmer Kelley and lost 11-9 despite another comeback.
Madisonville gave up nine unanswered runs in the first three innings before getting six on the board in the bottom of the third inning. The Miners scored one more in the fifth and another in the sixth to make it a 9-8 ballgame. Fulton responded with two runs in the top of the seventh to extend their lead to 11-8. Madisonville answered with one in the bottom of that frame for the final 11-9 margin.
Will Stump led the Miners are the plate, batting 3-for-5 with two home runs, four runs batted in, and two runs scored.
