(From Hopkinsville) The Hoptown Hoppers defeated the Madisonville Miners by a score of 15 to 2 in a game played in Hopkinsville on Tuesday evening.
Parker Cash earned the victory for the Hoppers, pitching 8 innings, allowing 1 run and 3 hits. Cash struck out 8 and walked 2 in his performance. Colton Nussel suffered the loss for Madisonville.
The Hoppers had 13 hits in the contest, led by Matt Cogen, who was 3 for 3 with 3 walks. Ernie de la Trinadad continued his fine hitting with two hits, including a home run and a double, John Davis had a triple and a single, and Bo Coolen, Cody Duncan, and Olsen each had two hits for the Hoppers, played in front of an attendance of 215.
Andrew Tanous went 1-for-3 and picked up an RBI for the Miners, and Jacob Czismadia drove in the other Madisonville run. Connor Moss and Wesley Birchmeier scored the runs.

Wednesday Night OVL Schedule
Madisonville (19-15) hosts Fulton (21-13) on Wednesday night at Elmer Kelley Stadium, while Owensboro (9-26) travels to Dubois County, Indiana, to face the Bombers (23-11). Hoptown has the night off.
